Similar to CLI Line Editor does not make any dynamic allocations, supports multiple instances with different key maps (like DOS, ANSI cursors, VT-100, etc). Typically application will create instance of CLI and instance of LE for every telnet session, serial port monitor, in band manager. See documentation and external file for details and more comments.
